Any recommendations for electrolysis in Toronto?

Hello everyone,

My wife is seriously considering gettin electrolysis done on her bikini area because she is blonde, has coarse hair, and sensitive skin… all of which make laser and waxing unappealing.

Can anyone recommend a place to go in the downtown Toronto area? We’re obviously interested in reasonable price and good results.

Thanks,
John

If you want reasonable price AND good work, you should be willing to expand your search farther than just downtown Toronto.

I don’t know who is good there anymore, as the best person I know closed her shop in that area, but I do know that we have only the people posting here to say. For that, you should be willing to take a recommendation outside of that area, just because it would come from someone who has actually been there and done that, and was pleased with the work.

Knowing the rents in downtown Toronto, better prices are bound to be found farther away from there just because of the lower overhead costs.

Hi there,

I certainly appreciate where your advice is coming from, but the reality is, we’ve committed ourselves to the downtown area in the sense that we have no car, and rely entirely on public transportation and walking. We have to offset travelling outside of the downtown area with both the increased cost and time that it would take to travel to the location.

I guess if we had to sacrifice anything to find a recommendation in the downtown area, it would be price. We’re certainly looking for quality.

Thanks in advance…
John

Sorry to report that the only recommendation that I could find for anyone CURRENTLY practicing in Toronto from a HairTell poster is Rachelle’s:

She didn’t even give full details. I guess you will have to look for that name, or PM her for the full disclosure. She still posts here, so I am sure she will answer your mail.

With all the millions of nice people we have in Toronto, are you really going to let New York City’s hair removal customers out do you on the politeness of spreading the word about who is good in their area?

I would never have thought that New Yorkers would beat the Canadians on niceness. (Have I goaded anyone into acton yet?)

Hi James,

Sorry for the tardy reply to your helpful search. I’ve messaged Rachelle for more details.

Thanks again… your help is highly appreciated. It’s too bad that no one took the bait of your friendly goading…
