Any comment/suggestions helpful! (kind of long,,)

i have a few questions i want to ask and i apologize right now for the length,

  1. all those hair removal products that andrea disclaims, on their websites they have 100% guarantees and money back offers not to mention testimonials. (rejuvenu, vector, nevershaveagain.com etc…) could it be that they work on some people but andrea only focuses on the people that are unsuccessful?

  2. kinda off of number 1, i’m interested in trying ultra hair stop, hair no more, or kalo (if you google these items you can find out more about them), especially hair no more because you don’t need to wax before hand, just apply the cream that’s included and then apply the inhibitor not to mention this package is the same cost as a bottle of kalo but with kalo you must have waxed the hair. does anybody have any suggestions/warnings about these items?

  3. my main point of this post.i’m only a high school student with a year left but i feel like hair is one of the few issues i have with my physical appearance not to mention the one i obsess over the most. people say i have beautiful hair (on my head) b/c its so thick but unfortuantely that’s not so beautiful in other places, i also have dark hair. i see people with absolutely no hair on their face and arms and back and i wonder how much effort they have to put into it, if you’re one of those people please offer me some advice! but i guess i don’t have a real problem with excess hair like a few unfortunate people but i do have more than normal.
i used to nair my arms/stomach but i’m sick of the 2 day results followed by a couple embarassing weeks where it’s that pesky length and too short to get rid of it. so i just let it grow out now and i’ve bleached it. it’s still horrible especially cause i feel like the hair just keeps growing and growing like the hair on my head.
i’ve waxed my jawline and now i’ve resorted back to bleaching, that’s okay i guess.
i shave my legs/underarms but i don’t mind that because it’s just part of taking a shower for me. but i even pluck some of the few stray hairs from my knuckles, etc…
enough of the nasty details, my question is
what do you use to keep hair free skin all over the body? i would prefer not to wax or use strong depilatories in certain areas because it will probably cause breakouts. also, cost is as big a factor for me as effectiveness. i don’t have too much money to spend but i definetly want to get rid of the hair on my arms, face (if you look closely you can even see hair on my forehead), neck, stomach, back, basically everywhere. i’m sick of wearing long sleeves and keeping my hair down. please share what you do, any comments/advice would be extremely appreciated! (once again sorry for the length)

Places that offer money-back guarantees know that most people won’t bother sending it back. They also usually make it hard to follow the rules to get the refund. That’s why some places offer double or triple money back. They will still make money because only a small number of people will try, let alone qualify.

The price point is set so that most people will think “Well, if it doesn’t work, I am only out __ bucks.” It’s called motivating trial in advertising. I used to write ads like that all the time.

Trust me, I know very trick in the book when it comes to marketing ploys. These topical products literally bank on people’s predicatable behaviors. They sell false hope, give a consumer the belief that there’s nothing to lose, then collect the money, knowing that only a tiny percentage will ever contact them again, even though the products have never been proven to work.

Actually, it has been reported on several news magazine shows that bad infomercial companies just ignore the refund requests of buyers until they have a case against them from the attorney general, and at that point, they get to settle with the lot of them for a reduced price.

First they tell you that you can’t return anything without a “Return Authorization Number” That serves to waste your valuable return time. Then you have to send it back to them following some strange return instructions. (Cut the black dot off the box, and affix it to the red square) Then they tell you they did not receive it, or it was lost in the mail, which works if you don’t send it with delivery confirmation. If you did, they just tell you that they received it too late for the refund, or that you did not follow the return rules correctly (you affixed the black dot on the Red Square, when you were supposed to put in on the blue triangel). Or, they tell you everything will be taken care of, but that you can’t get the refund until next billing cycle, and hope you forget.
Delay, Deflect, Deny. Sounds like the insurance companies.

When dealing with one of these companies, you really have to buy with a Credit Card, and tell them early that you are asking for a refund, and hoping that they will help you if anything goes wrong. The company hopes to keep you chasing your tail until you loose your right to dispute the charge on your bill. If you don’t ask the CC company to rescend the transaction in time, you can’t get your money back by that route even if you can prove that your card was stolen. Neat Huh?

Remember the Ferengi Laws of Acquisition Star Trek Fans: Once you get their money, you never give it back!

Well my two cents may not be worth much but I’d be interested to know if you have ever been evaluated by an Endocrinologist( doctors specializing in problems with the endocrine system that control hair growth) I also would like to know what sex you are unless I missed that somewhere in your post, duh. I empathize with you as I too want less hair on my body & face. Pearl…
