Amateur machine ? Sellers?

Hello there

I was just curious if someone might have good advice for me about which used machine to buy on a small budget. I live in Bulgaria but I am going to the US for 6 weeks over christmas so I was thinking about buying a used machine there but I am not sure which brand or model would fit well. My girlfriend wants to learn the trade and I will be the hairy guinea-pig so to speak. We need to do upper-arms, shoulders, back and lower back.

If things go well and I don’t disintegrate she maybe wants to go pro over time, but for that we could get another machine if that is not possible with the small ones for beginners. Or just use it until it goes bust

I saw lots of posts about experiences with certain machines but no recommendation so far, if I overlooked something in my search I’d be happy for a hint and apologize for your time.

Also if someone by chance is selling, just send me a message  I was wondering anyways why this site doesn’t have a market subforum, since all the professionals gather here.

Kind regards,
Martin

It has a market subforum where people advertising for their old devices.

I would recommend you to look at the used device list from Seana.

You are on the right track if you buy from well known brands like Apilus which should be the most offered one.

Also you can ask Skip from Instantron for refurbished devices.

Maybe you can add your range of possible investment to that whole journey.

Nearly two months being in this profession and the spendings for me doesn’t stop because you need a lot more than just the devise, probably a basic course and equipment or furniture.

Good luck

Keep in mind that electric voltage in America and Europe is different, you might need a transformer for the machine if it is not designed for European voltage.

The listings I listef from kijiji are in this thread:

I could probably do an update as it’s been a few weeks. I have my eye out for a second machine, and I’m thinking about going with an Apilus Platinum or Pure . It may be a while before I can afford one however.

Seana
