Almighty electrolysis

I ask because Im just curious - if someone of the experienced electrologists had some male patients (back, shoulders, upper arms) about 25 years old, hair developed about 2+ years ago and had difficulties to get permanent results?

I know that it is an unpleasant question, but sometimes the results cannot be influenced by the person who is treating - so I just would like to know if there is something that could cause electrolysis not to work…

I appreciate the answers in advance.

Not every electrologist performs the procedure well. Lack of skill is the usual culprit. The other is not getting treatments properly at proper timing.

Lastly, most men develop hair into their late 20s. So you probably developed some new hair. However, you should still be seeing results even if that happened since you wouldn’t have developed double the hair you started with.

I suspect you’re either not getting good treatments or aren’t approaching the procedure in the right way.

What method is being used? Do you feel hair slide out without resistance after being zapped? Do you get full clearances each time? How often do you go in?

No no, Im not having electrology treatments, I just think about doing them.

But I would like to know if there are many people that didnt get any or almost none results.
For example laser treatments for back, shoulders and upper arms of men are often unsuccesful and sometimes they result in induced growth.

So if my hair (coarse and very dense) did develop from 20-22, they didnt change for last 2 years. If I start electrolysis now and I will be getting good treatments nad proper timing, could it happen I will not see any results or just get a very small reduction like many times get men on this areas when doing laser?

If done properly electrolysis always works and kills the unwanted hair. If you are not seeing good results from your treatments I would try someone else.

HI!!! Lisa, How you doing? I echo your words.

Laser treatments are successful if done properly. Electrolysis is successful if done properly. In both cases, lack of success is due to lack of proper treatments. That can be the result of technique, machine, settings, treating wrong type of hair, etc.

Additionally, if you have electrolysis, yes it will work if those hair follicles are properly punched in the nose. It will not be a waste of time. Once those follicles are done away with, they will not be back. You are not wasting your time starting treatment now. It will be less hair for you to deal with if any sleeping hair follicles wake up during your 20’s, 30’s and maybe 40’s.

Electrologists that do back, upper arms and shoulders must be grinning widely when they hear words of doubt about killing hair in this area. We do this all the time - and yes, it works wonderfully well.

 Thanks a lot dfahey, great explanation

You are very welcome! I forgot to say that I like your subject title. Electrolysis is indeed almighty, but you want to try someone that is mighty good that can do this correctly.
