aftertreatment concern

hi! is it normal to see white heads forming immediately after treatment on the points of insertion?

absolutly. i had an hour and half last night and before i went to bed i saw them coming up.

You can find a lot of threds about this here on hairtell. and if you look at this image, you can see that the the oil gland is right next to the follicle and when the hair is destroyed, the natural oils of the skin pour out into the canal and out on the skin. that is what my electrologyst showed me last night, and i have read it before in the electrolgy books.

i dont know if we mean the same thing…they more look like zits with white pus, as when skin is infected.

That is why I advise people to use Tea Tree Oil overnight the first 1 to 3 nights after treatment, because in addition to being an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal agent, it also dissolves necrotic tissue, and puss, thus keeping the skin from forming most pimple type formations, and ending those that do form quicker.

You can get it from your local health food store, some Wal-Mart stores carry it in the section where they have vitamins and alcohol.

James,

Why use tea tree oil only night? cant it be used during the day?

a reailly silly question… I bought a bottle last week, is it supposed to smell bad? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> if it works thpough, its worth it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

The reason you use it overnight is because many people don’t like the scent. When used overnight, the scent is all gone by daybreak, and you have all the benefits, without needing to make excuses all day. Of course, if one did not care, or was staying home all day anyway, one could use it day and night.
