Advice please

I’m a 18 year old male looking for advice on what to do about my excessive body hair. I have a really high level of testosterone and I’ve had a beard since I was 15. I also started growing hair on my back and butt around that age and it’s really messed up my self esteem. I’m ashamed to talk to anyone I know about this, so I can’t even go to my parents for help.

My main problem is that I have hair everywhere on my body, so I can’t just shave or wax one area without it being really obvious. So I want to eventually try laser hair removal for my lower back, butt, and upper legs. The other hair on my body doesn’t bother me much. If I had success with that, then I would probably go on to have the back of my neck and shoulders done.

I don’t have a job or any money and I can’t go to anyone I know for help. I need someone with experience to explain the whole process of going to a clinic for laser treatments because I want to be able to do it on my own without anyone finding out. I have really light skin and dark hair. I need an estimate how much it would cost and how many treatments it would take to at least permanently reduce the hair at my problem areas by 50%. Thanks.

Also, is it possible to use nair to remove hair from one part of the body while blending it in to another part where you don’t want 100% removal?

everything you need to know is explained in the FAQs. Please read them and come back here with any specific questions you have once you’ve learned the basics: www.hairremovalforum.com/faq.cfm

for temporary reduction, a lot of men here find it very helpful to visually reduce the appearance of hair by trimming it using a body trimmer.

From personal experience-don’t use nair. It will completely remove hair and will not blend very well in my opinion. Your hair will then grow back in the nair region with potential ingrown hair that looks like acne. I’ve been there and did that.

Listen to LAgirl-try the clippers to blend if need be. Good luck.
