i need electrolysis on my face and i’m of indian descent.

i’ve gone to prestige skin care/prestige electrolysis on arapaho road. the consultation was good but i dont want to sign up without a referral at least.

i’m also considering barbara’s electrolysis on forest lane.

please help!

Hey neighbor! I have tried two places for electrolysis in DFW and have just started the second. So far, so good. Thus, I would encourage you to check out Sandra’s Electrolysis. It is little further for me, but she meets all the qualifications that you will learn about on this site and she is very fast! Remember, the cost per hour is NOT the issue; it is cost per HAIR that counts (and that is for actual “killed” hair). She is $65/hr now in the mid-range (low is $50 to high of $80 around here). Visit: http://www.sandraselectrolysis.com

Check out several places to learn what you like. My first electro was very nice, good price, and I really liked it, so I stuck with it for a year and had mixed progress. In hindsight, I don’t think that the 5 minute “trial” will help much other than to convince one to never return (if it’s that bad). I would go to a few people for an hour perhaps to see how fast they work and to see the results on that area. Monitor your treatments (time, results, skin response, etc) and evaluate the progress after 10 hours, 20 hours and make sure you are satisfied.

BTW, I visited prestige and was fine, but never had more than a consultation. PM me if you wish; I am glad to share…

I can second your opinion about sandra’s electrolysis, tex, as I have a client that travels back and forth from Dallas to Columbus. She gets treatment when she is home in Dallas and see’s me when she here in school. Her treatments are with Terry (don’t know if there are other electrologists that works at Sandra’s???)and she is very pleased with Terry’s work. I have witnessed her skin under 5X magnification and it is lovely and smooth. Sadly, the client we share is basically finished as we were just nit-picking last time. I say “sadly” because we won’t be new best friends much longer because she’s almost finished. Extra bonus is, Terry has an Apilus Platinum and I think her prices are great.

wow. thank you both so much for the response. i’ll definitely check out sandra’s, even though it’s a bit of a distance from where i am. she’s open on saturdays, so that’s great!

i feel lazy to get this process started because i know it requires a lot of commitment, especially in the first few months. guess i’m just chicken! but here i go…

thanks again!

Your are very welcome. If you think of it, come back and share your experience with us, since consumers seem to believe other consumers more than they believe anyone that gains financially from services or products offered.

Another good one is Dan Wallace of Electrolysis For Men (he also treats women, BTW.) His website is www.electrolysisformen.com, and his phone number is 214-766-8939. He does amazing work, and has removed almost all of my facial hair as well as done work on the back of my neck, my fingers, toes, etc. He’s got an Apilus, too, which is the best machine I think. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Great! Another business to share. Thanks for for the lead about Dan, WNA, and so glad your electrolysis is going well. I really like Dan’s website, too.
