Please everyone, don`t laugh at me. I was watching news with my husband, and comercial for Activon came up. Being how my next torture appointment is tomorrow, i thought that maybe, just maybe it could ease the pain. Is this feasable?
It`s topical anelgetic in gel, clear without odor.
Active Ingredients
Camphor 3.15% , Histamine Dihydrochloride 0.025% , Menthol 4.127%
I know it may sound silly but i just wanted to know.
Sanny, there are better analgesics out there. Emla, Betacaine, etc. Actially anything ending in caine will be an anesthetic. For my clients I find it helps in sensitive areas to just use some Band Aid or Bactine which has small amounts of lidocaine in it. I figure that since they are for burns, and Thermolysis uses the creation of heat to kill generative cells, that it is a perfect match. I believe that all my clients really appreciate my having it on hand for them. It gives a cool feeling when they feel things are getting just a bit too hot for them.
Note: Analgesic=Works against Pain
Anesthetic =Works against Feeling, so that you do not feel.
The Gels type anesthetics like emla etc require about an hours to take effect. While I find liquids like Bactine takes only about 10-15 minutes.
