A thank you.

I dont usually get this sappy. Bear with me.

I wanted to take a moment, to send out a couple of notes of appreciation.

Some time ago, I decided enough was enough, and I was going to learn how to do electrolysis and get it done. Everything everywhere, said not to do this. I of course didnt listen, and did it anyway. Along the way, several of the pro’s and regular contributors here have helped me, beyond words and encouraged me as well. Some of those people are:

James Walker: probably one of the first people to say you can do this, and dont let anyone tell you you cant. I’ve come to count on him as a confident as well when things go screwy. Thank you James.

Michel Bono : Who has served as a mentor and confident ( and opponent at times) , one of usually the first to point out when I’m being silly or overthinking things. Who has written books and posts here that have educated and helped me to find my method.

Josefa: who has presented ideas and videos of her wonderful work, along with a healthy dose of encouragement . YOu have set yourself in a class by yourself professionally and ethically.

Beate:
Who has provided endless advice on methodology and encouragement and confirmation I’m not off my rocker

To Dee Fahey,: who’s contributed countless hours of analysis and diagnosis and question answering to the many posters here at hairtell.

And to Andrea, : Who has supported and encouraged my participation since day 1, and even put up with me when I occasionally get peeved or upset.

There are others, but I wanted to give thank yous to these people in particular who have been so helpful as I learned and participated here. I dont think that many realize here that those who contribute at this level here do so with no self-interest, and in an effort to help out. I wanted them to know, that their efforts over time are completely appreciated.I want it known, their contributions go well beyond what I have stated here .

Thanks Kiddo,

What I like about you the MOST is that you are “in my face!” And, sometimes, annoy the hell out of me! Seriously … it’s GREAT!

Above all you are truthful and I’m sure everyone knows exactly “where they stand” with you. See, I was raised like this and I honor this quality above all other human qualities. The opposite, duplicity, is my anathema.

All the people you mentioned? Well, all of them have also had “difficulty with me!” Why? Because I state, “what I see” directly. (Of course, I’m sometimes wrong.) Yeah, I know, it’s annoying as hell … but it’s in my genes.

I probably have not stated strongly enough but try, now and then, to give encouragement to all of us in “a minority.” (‘Cause, if you think about it, everybody is a minority.)

The liberation of people has been the recurring theme for my entire life: Civil Rights (I was in SNCC), I protested Vietnam, then Women’s Rights and finally … the “last frontier … equality for “sexual orientation.” Give me a placard, point me in the direction of your parade, and I will surely show up!

The way to “liberation” is not waiting for others to accept you. It’s for you to accept yourself, and that is what SeanaTG is all about. We can all take a lesson.

Thank You SeanaTG for sticking to it and doing what most people don’t do, give back and say thank you.

Gratitude is and endangered attitude today.

The prevailing culture doesn’t encourage it, so it is an uncommon thing when someone bucks the norm and goes out of their way.

I am happy to call you one of my “Little Apple Seeds”, and hope you will not only get to where you want to go, but will bring others there with you.

HairTell is better for having you and your voluntary efforts here.

We could use more like you.
(Someone has to take my place)

@Michael
Yes of course I’m in your face. You wouldnt have it any other way either. As for “having difficulty” with others on the list at various points in time, well that’s expected isnt it. Disagreeing is normal, but part of respect is being able to admit when you’ve screwed up.A parade huh, is that how I get you up here? Well we do this pride thing every august…

@ James, I’m happy to give back what little I do. Believe me when I tell you I take away much more from here than I give back.

Seana

Oh, and a special thank you to Caroline.Caroline had a couple boxes of ballet Gold f3’s she wasnt going to use, and sent them to me from very far away . Thank you so much.

Seana

How do i say it? Briefly: thank You for saying thank You.

Hairtell is a great platform, not only for people with hair problems but also for us as beginners. And it is good to give back something of what we have recieved. I in a similar way as You.

Thanks Seana, you’re most welcome!
I’ve had much support and help from my fellow electrologists too (and many of them are on this forum - thank you).
