A blend adapted to these times (part II)

I would like to dig deeper into this topic. Probably, a manufacturer of machines recover Blend technique and will adapt it to make it more competitive. The problem with the blend seems to be its extreme slowness, however, according to Dr. Schuster, is a proven fact that for each 10 degrees C. increase in temperature the speed of chemical reaction doubles, so the heated lye can be up to 6 times more caustic than lye at body temperature.

The blend of the Platinum is based on the indications of Hinkel? and its presets follow faithfully the time required for each type of hair according to the face technique. But what would happen if we increase the temperature?

I must habe overlooked this.

Blend on the Platinum: Josefa, You have described a method to apply blend with your old device as well as with the Platinum. In addition, the pulsed blend i am still using on the Apilus Junior (galvanic current as high as possible over one or two seconds and 4-5 pulses of micro/pico-flash of around 0.2 s length) is possible on the Platinum as well.

The Platinum also has its own “special” Blend modes:

a) Multiblend - Multiplex + Galvanic, unfortunately not faster than 4 s.
b) Evuloblend which i have never had a look upon since the upgrade of my Pure to a Platinum.

Did anyone else try out?

I would prefer blend in situations where the follicle is difficult to access.

Beate

Thanks Beate, what is the mode for this in the Platinum?
A few months ago I tried the Omniblend, but I remember that time limit was 3 seconds.

I want to try the Multiblend. If we remove the last pulse, perhaps approaching the Blend of my old machine. I also miss the control that we can have with the Blend. I’ll tell you how the test was.
