After doing lots of research on this site, I’ve found a few laser clinics around that are using the “Cynosure Apogee Elite 2000-755 Alexandrite and 1064 YAG” Which this site said would be the best option for me (type II skin). I have consultations at 3 of these places tomorrow.
What are the top 5 questions I should remember to ask (in case I go blank)??
One of the clinics also does electryolysis and will try and determine which is the best route for me to follow.
I’m also checking out other electrolysis places around the city - just no consults yet.

I would not use a yag laser on type 2 skin. Treatments will be less painful and more effective with an alexandrite laser.
Apogee Elite is both an alex and a Yag. I’m assuming they will be using the alex option on that machine on a skin type II.
Had three consults, 2 out of 3 were good. The first woman I saw has had lots of experience and was very very informative about the whole procedure, what to expect, how the laser works etc…she was also very concerned about me the “client” and what I wanted in terms of results. I think she’s the one I’m going to go with for treatment.
The second place I went too was not as helpful. When she heard that I already had one consult she lost interest and basically said that I probably had all my questions answered , I felt very rushed. Although she has a number of years experience she wasn’t too thrilled with helping me out, she didn’t even look at the hair in the area I want removed, she just “took my word for it” so to speak.
The third consult was good. She was my second choice when all is said and done, but she doesn’t have as many years experience at the first consult.
I’m still quite nervous to have my first treatment 
it’ll be in about 3 weeks since I’ve been plucking and wdaxing for a while. I’ll keep you posted 
Sounds good. I’m assuming they all use the Apogee Elite? Did you ask what settings they’re planning to use?

yes, she’ll be using the Apogee Elite, the Alex laser. I’ve emailed her to find out what settings, I’ m not sure what she’ll be using.
I realised after seeing the laser she’ll be using that I had IPL treatments before, not laser…therefore that’s why it probably didn’t work.
She’s confident it’ll work for me, but also cautioned me about the possibilty of new regrowth due to hormonal factors, etc… but said at most I could get a touch up every 1-2 years if needed.
