I’ve been going to this spa close to home for a few months now and have five laser treatments on my face. The staff takes great care in taking care of your skin first and foremost. I let them know all of the problems I had had with my first laser experience and they have been very helpful and understanding. They are using a Yag laser on me, although it may hurt a great deal, it only lasts for maybe twenty minutes after the treatment. My face was slightly sore after my first treatment but every treatment after that has been easier. I didn’t have a lot of redness at all. After each treatment I have had shedding, especially after my third and fourth treatments. The coarser hairs on my chin have been the most stubborn but on my jaw line and under my chin there has been significan reduction. I’ve now been able to just quickly shave the few hair that are visible and only have to cover with a powder–no more cakey make-up! I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much because I know that often times the hair will grow back…but right now I am very happy with the results!

It’s amazing how the anxiety sticks with you, though. I used to be able to still feel the hair under my skin or when it would get irriated and bumpy, so I’d shrink back and freak out whenever anyone came near my face or tried to touch it. Now? I have the same reaction even though I don’t need too. I still worry about my makeup rubbing or sweating off and having to reapply it. Like I said, though, I’m still not trying to get my hopes up incase it all comes back.

I dont understand how to post a new thread?? can anyone help… but i want to ask everyone if they know of a website or anything to do with clincal research or trials that are offering free laser removal for scientific studies… im a college kid and dont want to wait to get laser removal, but cant afford it! helppppp…
