4 weeks or 8 weeks for legs

So I am doing my homework and doing consultation for laser hair removal for the whole leg. I am skin type III with dark coarse hair.

One laser technician said I need around 6 to10 treatments. The first 6 are only 4 weeks apart. Then The following treatments depend on what we see. She is using Sheer Diode Luminous without a cooling system. She is using ice pads to cool the skin

The other one is suggesting 6 to 8 treatments 8 to10 weeks apart. She is using Cynosure Elite with cooling system.

My question is, does the legs hair grow in 4 weeks? Do the legs need 4 or 8 weeks between treatments?

My other question, which machine is better the luminous or the Cynosure Elite?

What about not using the cooling air? would the pain be bearable with just ice packs?

Thanks

4 weeks is too early for any area and especially the legs which have long hair cycles and need 10-12 weeks.

But no need to pre-plan this and argue with the tech. Just make appts as you wish. You won’t have anything to treat at 4 weeks if treatments are good.

Cynosure Elite is both an alex and a yag and is an easier to use machine to get you results.

Everyone has a different threashold for pain and it also depends on setting and how coarse the hair is.
