Today I had my fist electrolysis appointment, thanks to this site, specifically James W. Walker(for the recommendations,info and kind words ) I finally had the courage to go. After years of wasting money, time and hope on all kinds of home use hair removal products (vector, waxing, epilators) and the feelings of shame and embarressment that come along with having more body hair than usual I finally feel like theres hope. I wish I had found this site years ago and started this process a long time ago.
Anyway my appointment went well, most of the hair was cleared during this first appointment which lasted about 1 and 1/2 hrs. It was not painful and though the area is now red and a little swollen, I think any discomfort will be well worth it. My next appoitment is in 1 week to finish clearing the area and get any new growth. I will try to post often about my experiences in hopes that it may help someone else, since reading others posts has been very helpful to me.
