1 Brazilian Laser HR, I regret it: Will hair grow?

Hello Everyone,

I recently had 1 brazilian LHR session with a Soprano machine. “All” the hair has shed. I wish I would have chosen the bikini style so that I would have been able to keep the hair in my labia and part of the mound.

I feel uncomfortable now and very stressed.

I would like to know if somebody has had an experience similar to mine with laser hair removal.

  1. Specifically, I would like to know if the MAJORITY of the HAIR will grow back, EVEN IF ALL THE HAIR HAS SHED, and you only had one LHR treatment (no further treatments)?

  2. Also, since I already had 1 treatment of LHR, will BIKINI laser hair removal be possible NOW ?

  3. Or will only a FEW HAIRS grow in the mound, giving the area a “weird” look?

Thank you for any input that may help …

Yes, the majority of hair will come back even if the treatment was successful. Even if successful, one Laser treatment can only disable some follicles. It may take a while for the active follicles to produce hairs but they will.

hi,

As you only had one treatment.Yes they should all grow back in time.

UPDATE -

Most of the hair has grown.

HOWEVER, I didn’t know that it would be straight and thinner. I was lead to believe that if it grows it would be coarse and thick as before. I know now that is not the case. Had I known I would never have gone through with this.

But unfortunately, there are two hairless patches.

For anyone considering a brazilian, I hope my experience helps you to think twice before choosing LHR.

Stick to shaving or waxing. With LHR there is no way back.

Give it time. Give it a rest. It’ll grow back in time.
