Taking too long, or am I impatient?

Do not use the at home electrolysis unless you know it is a proper electrolysis machine. The ones bought on the high street will only pluck the hair undoing all the work done by the proper electrolysis treatment?

You aren’t kidding. This stupid mark is far worse! I can’t tell you how mad I am at myself. But, on the flip side, I’d rather be mad at myself for it than made for paying someone else to do it. That’s why I would never let anyone else color my hair when it was red. I knew what I wanted and how I liked it and was not going to let anyone screw it up. lol I’m not going in the sun for a while, nor wearing any foundation. It should be close to normal by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.

Thank you SO much everyone, for all of your advice. I most certainly am throwing that electrocution box in the trash… unless folica will refund me. I promise I won’t use it again. lol. I’m not toooo worried about the healing of the mark since I’m keeping it clean. I do find, though, that neosporin does really help for my marks, if I at least use it while I sleep. The neo keeps it clean and moist and seemingly does well for my scar-prone skin. I do alternate b/w alcohol and witch hazel. I’m a little ocd and want to be sure it gets clean.

I also promise I won’t fiddle with it or have any more work done until the mark heels. I’m even ok with not trimming it until it heels fairly well (the one perk of working alone most of the time in my office). But the new work will be with someone else. I actually found someone who also had a bad experience with the woman I’m seeing. It’s so hard since there are really very few reviews and referrals for electrologists.

Dee, I will most certainly be sending you a PM.

Thank you again, everyone. I really, really appreciate it.

Send us some pictures as it progressively gets better. That will give others hope. The skin is an amazing organ.

A dab of tea tree oil with Aquaphor over the crusty areas would be more natural than Neosporin.
