should I give GentleLase a try..?

I’m thinking about getting my first treatment within the next couple of weeks. I found a clinic called London Premier Laser Clinic, has anybody hear of this clinic?

I am looking for an electrologist to first help me with the hair on my upper arms, and later to take care of the hairs the laser can’t get rid of.

how high settings would you mean I should go for?

Please use the Advanced Search feature on the forum and search for LONDON. You’ll see several threads discussing various clinics in London. Read them.

Only treat upper arms with laser IF you have dark DENSE COARSE hair there. If you don’t, you’re risking stimulating MORE hair with laser, so it wouldn’t be worth it.

I’m getting a little confused here. I AM a light skin mulatto, but do you think my skin is light enough to be treated with GentleLase?

when I was treated with IPL i was on high, if not the highest setting, without getting any burns, but as i understand IPL is only white light, and can therefore not be compered with a true laser machine.

I want the best results possible, but pigment changes sound a little scary, unless it’s not permanent.

It’s impossible to tell you if you’re light enough for GentleLASE. You may be. You should visit a clinic that has both alex and yag lasers and see what they think they should use. They’ll be able to see you in person and judge better and they won’t be biased since they have both machines. They can also do test spots to see how high they can go on settings on an alex machine. If your skin can handle high enough settings on an alex, then you can use that machine with potential for permanent results.
