Questions on Kill rate and insertion philosophies

Oh, seems like a “hunt and peck” approach. Go to my website … Books … and download FREE the “Guide to the Blend” (in five languages). Read the part about the 2-handed/progressive epilation technique.

When you use two hands, you never need to remove the needle ‘til the hair releases. The technique takes some getting used to, but once mastered it really speeds up the process a lot. All the “in and out” and testing takes valuable seconds and slows the whole procedure.

Thanks, Michael…will read.

And you have no students that you trained in the Boston or surrounding areas? Really? No one that you could suggest that you may even know of?
(Sorry, but my search has not been going too well thus far.)

Another good strategy in these cases is to remove hairs which are thinner near and therefore they require less energy. This causes some swelling in the area. This inflammatory process facilitates treatment of the follicles deep in subsequent sessions. Acids involved in the healing process act as a kind of galvanism. Of course, you should not pluck thicker hairs, they just need to be cut to hide. If you agree to try, suggest to your electrologist and see if it works. Always works for me.

Olé, Olé, and Olé !!! Fran, I do not know if you will survive after this, but in any case, you will die in the hands of the BEST.

Fran Luffer, I hope that I’m NOT the “Mike” to whom you are refering. First, I didn’t work on you (I don’t know who you are), and secondly … and this is a BIG second … all of that “supreme Magnificence s–t” is not anything I like hearing EVER. ALL OF US ARE STUDENTS ONLY, there are no supreme beings! If your post was directed at me specifically, it made me sick to my stomach: not appreciated and completely repulsive. My God things can get weird here on Hairtell! Anybody know what’s going on?

Sorry Kiddo … I don’t know you and your post is the most upsetting thing I have ever read on Hairtell. This is SICK! I don’t understand your “game” but I hope your posts are removed pronto! Oh, and “go to hell” too! And, put THAT in your “follicle.” Ha ha ha

Anyway, back to the interesting stuff. As a corollary to what I mentioned about “strategy and method” … indeed, regardless of your method, you can use divergent strategies! You are not limited by your method; strategy is also your choice.

For example, Jossie uses the identical strategy I use (for, say a man’s back) … but she uses the Apilus. From time to time, I will use the more “traditional thermolysis approach.” And, I’m using that approach right now on a woman’s legs. I was seeing her weekly and then bi-weekly and now once every 6-weeks or so. This has been a VERY long case and I estimated a much shorter TTT. (I’ll post the photos and time … I’m not exactly proud of this case!)

Point: no electrologist is limited by the method they use. A “preferred strategy” emerges, but once we understand our goal, strategies can be altered for a variety of reasons.

GOT IT!

As with all writings, the Fran Luffer’s grammar and syntax errors (as well as correct usage) have a specific “writer’s footprint” all over it. I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

See, writing is “my thing.” (I’ve ghostwritten a few books and taught writing in high school … I know when a student has copied someone else’s work! Damn little creeps!)

Your capitalization errors were the first clue (primarily, only proper nouns are capitalized in the sentence body). The classic error of mistaking “your and you’re” is recurring throughout your other writings. Your trademark systematic repetition of the “salutation” throughout the post (and your use of “Mike,” not “Michael”), and sentence rhythm and structure … well, your “footprint” is all over this thing.

Finally, your misspelling of “where, as “were” is the ABSOLUTE give-away that YOU wrote this trash. (Remember, I had earlier corrected this error in one of your pieces?) Nobody could copy your “style” so impeccably.

Somebody is attempting to do the “double-agent” thing here, (actually, trying to get me angry at another person?), but it’s not going to work! Or, maybe there’s another purpose for this subterfuge; but I don’t understand your objective at all.

For Hairtell regulars, “Fran Luffer” is NOT any regular poster on Hairtell, and absolutely NOT one of the “top contributors.” Whew! (And, I apologize for what I was originally considering!)

Just a warning: STOP while you’re ahead!

This is just weird.

To the person - no one finds this vaguely humorous and if you are trying to make some kind of point, you fail. You are making a mockery of yourself.

My last retort to “Fran Luffer” PROMISE! And yes, just WEIRD!

Guess you didn’t heed my grammar tips, but thanks for the continued “footprints.” I suppose this was “all in fun” for you, and I forgive you of course, but not much fun for me. I’m trying to think if I’ve ever done anything to garner such rubbish, but I don’t think so.

Anyway, I suppose I now join the official ranks of the other electrologists that have had a “run in” with KW. I didn’t completely believe them; now I do! I suppose, in a way, I “had this coming.” I know one colleague that is rightfully gloating. And I can laugh at myself too. Sarcasm, by the way, is the lowest form of humor.

Furthermore I’m no longer the “best electrologist,” I’m now number 435 (and that’s official). That means there are 435 better electrologists than I. So, go bug them!

If any of you “don’t understand,” well, I don’t either. And yes, this was NUTS!

Well Fran Luffer, enough is enough!. There are many ways to attack and this is a full-scale attack to an electrologist who posts on this forum with name and surname. Someone should do something to prevent this from happening.

And here I thought your profession was in disarray. But you guys have an official national/global(?) council that rates your performance?

And if you ever get tired fighting the war on hair follicles, you may want to consider working for the FBI’s National Crime Lab. I think they’re hiring experienced document analysts.

When I tried to discuss the state of the industry in the US I was shot down and told I was wrong. Well the “vultures” have come home to roost … and this time they want to take up residence on Hairtell!

Ahhhhh, the art of trolling … keep your cool.

Derogatory remarks are unnecessary. Please keep posts related to the subject matter at hand.

Whoops, I wasn’t referring to you Hairadicator, the comment was meant for KW and I should have been clearer about that. You know, as in, KW is the troll and everyone needs to keep their cool… ?

Sorry about the misunderstanding … apologies. You are right about KW! Troll is putting it kindly.
