Help what??
On GentleYag, max on 15mm is 40J (30J on 18mm).
It would really be best if they treated at 18mm…

Thanks LAgirl. So basically I got treated at lower settings this time. Last time I got treated at 26-28 joules with an 18mm spot size. This time I got treated at 29-32 joules with a 15mm spot size. I’m no math whiz but I got up to 28/30 max joules last time (93% of the max) and this time I only got up to 32/40 joules (80% of the max setting). I know this doesn’t factor pulse in the equation but the pulse was not too different between the treatments.
How come my bikini area is shedding better this time? Is it coincidence or timing or something else?
The reason she is treating me at 15mm instead of 18mm is that she says the laser is more concentrated at 15mm. I take it you don’t agree??
You are correct. These settings were lower. Better shedding may have to do with better coverage of the area.
And no, I don’t agree. Laser works in a cone shape. 18mm is always best.
