I had my 4th touch up done after 3 weeks. I was advised by a tech to start waiting 9 weeks from touch up time for the 5th and 6th treatments (12 week wait.) 5th session will be in April.

Treatment # 5 was done yesterday on a new machine called Gentlelase Pro. This time I did not use a numbing cream. The discomfort level was very tolerable even though the settings were set on max. Also, the treatment went by fast with the new laser.

How many more treatments do you expect to have and are you desiring to be hair free or less hairy? I see a huge difference between start to where you are and it looks great.
I have 1 more final treatment to go and I’m done. As I understand, 6 treatments cover all hair cycle growths if you follow the schedule. Since laser does not kill 100% of the hairs, I know that there will be some remaining finer hair growing in after the final treatment. The remaining hair is significantly fine at this point, and I don’t see how any further treatment after the 6th treatment would be productive.
Initially, I was desiring to be completely hair free, but now that I’m seeing the visual differences with fine, sparse hair growing and how you can’t even feel it, it’s not bothering me at all–(at least not now.)If the final results will still bother me, I’ll consider continuing with electrolysis if finances permit. But, so far I’m satisfied with how the results are turning out.
Sounds great. Please let us know how the growth looks 6 months after your final treatment.
Update. Today I had my touch up session 3 weeks after 5th treatment. My 6th and last treatment will be in 9 weeks from this touch up session.
I would wait longer at this point…see what comes in by week 10-11.
Update 7/7/11
12th week post treatment 5. http://imageshack.us/g/685/12weeksposttreatment5.jpg/ I don’t notice any difference in regrowth compared to regrowth after 4th treatment: same areas with same amount of finer hair grew. My 6th and last treatment is this week. I’ll see if there is any advantage to try the 15mm spot and little higher joules over the 20mm/20j to treat the remaining fine hair.
You can also save that treatment for later, in case you get more growth from another cycle later.
How could there be any growth from another cycle after completing all treatments covering all cycles through the year of treatments?
What I mean is if there is any serious hair still left in other cycles (after you’ve hit that hair once), then you can save this treatment and treat later.
Hey guys, I’m finished with my 6 treatments and touch ups. I’ll update at how the result turns out at 6 months mark.
Update. It’s been about 3 months since my 6th/last treatment that was in July. The regrowth after that was slow and it now looks stable–as in I’m not noticing any more growth. Of course I was expecting some hair to regrow after my last session. I will continue to update and post photos at 6 months and at 1 year.

Another Update. I took these pics (yesterday) 11/12/12. It’s 7th month post treatments. I didn’t shave or trim all that time. I didn’t notice much changes in regrowth after about 4th month from last treatment. Any idea why it worked so effectively on your chest hair and not on the strip from belly button downward ?? Seems to be the same sort of hair. Mysteries of LHR ??
