This hair can be cleared in one long session. The ideal way to do this is with an electrologist that is highly skilled in doing in the faster forms of thermolysis, microflash or picoflash. Doing this in auto sensor mode increases the speed and lessens the fatigue factor for the electrologist. Using a halogen or LED light with surgical magnification increases speed and lessens the fatigue factor for the electrologist.
Speed and leaving the appointment with minimal skin reaction is possible, if you find THE PERSON that can do this. There are other pathways that will work, but this would be the most ideal way to tackle this particular situation.
Canadien, I mean the healing of the skin. This work is perfect. We can see some tiny scabs in the same diameter that correspond to the follicle which is being treated.
It is certain that many have been removed (mostly) in one attempt. Those which you see at the moment are the hairs that have taken longer to appear, fine hairs that were not present when her electrologist worked the area.
Oh I see. I have had a few issues like hyperpigmentation but it seems to fade after a while. I have to try to wear sunscreen as much as possible.
I thinks it’s going to be hard to find someone who does flash thermolysis in my area because I called a few places and they don’t do it. I’ll keep calling around though.
To answer Roma’s question. I have been going for one hour sessions almost weekly. I did go for one two hour session, but I don’t think she likes doing long sessions because she wasn’t able to do it again. Even after the two hour session my skin didn’t react any different compared to the one hour sessions, just more hair was removed. But now I’m only going to be able to go twice a month now due to my financial situation, so it stinks.
It’s best to save up and go as often as possible in the beginning to get to that clearance, so that you’re only coming in to get the new weak hair that shows up and kill it the first time around after that clearance. If you stretch it out more, it prolongs your treatment span overall since you’re wasting some time treating hair that’s not in the right phase anymore.
Ontario should have many electrologists. Call around some more. Try to find someone doing thermolysis.
I disagree with Lagirl. The frecuency you go to your electrologist, has no impact on success. Only influences the total time to complete the treatment.
