James, any pictures of darker skinned people?

James:

Great video. I was quite impressed with the results obtained by your clients. It was especially brave of the Af-American female to show the scarring and effects of previous hair removal techniques. Her cheeks and chin now appear quite flawless. I am sure that this video has given many of us (especially ppl of African descent) a great amount of hope.

Keep up the great work!

Thank You.
Although, I understand why she didn’t, it would have done much more good if she had given permission to use her first appointment BEFORE picture as an inset, picture in picture style. When I saw the film the first time, I thought to myself, “No one is going to believe me when I say just what kind of hairs and how many I removed from this woman’s cheeks, chin, and coming out of the hairline.” She looks too finished to tell the story.

If you think the difference between what you see of her mask area and the revealed area is large, you would be shocked at the side by side of her first treatment Before picture and this vision of her at the point of “pacifaction”.

Yes, there is hope out there, of only enough people can find someone to do work that rises to a certain level.

One thing this video shows – I do have clients who are finished and happy.

I am an AA female with scarring from a waxing gone bad on my chin and lip. Been feeling so hopeless especially now that I’m in a new relationship that I don’t even want him up close to my face or even touching it. I’ve been using bleaching topicals from a derm so the scars are clearing, but the hair is ever so present. You have no idea how much of an impact this video has had on me! I will be in touch soon James

James:

Did she experience hyperpigmentation due to electrolysis at the beginning? I noticed from the marks on her neck/under her chin that her skin scars easily so I was wondering how her skin reacted to electrolysis.

As her cheeks and chin show electrolysis was the best thing that happened to her. Did she have any temporary pigmentation from the electrolysis treatments? I can’t say, the skin was already covered in splotchy black and brown marks from the ingrown hairs, and razor burn she had been suffering from when she started coming in.

These days, when I work on hairs in her chin and cheek area, there is no post treatment pigmentation, but the hairs are not as thick, nor as curved nor the treatment energy as high as when we started, so it is not a fair comparison.

Hello James, I’m just starting into the wonderful world of Electrolysis.

Did you use galvanic only on her? I assume that because in your last post you said that you’ve been able to lower the treatment energy, that she had a high “tolerance” level when ya’ll started? Also, if you used galvanic how long for each hair (in the beginning stages).

I have a very simular client, whose dry skin I’m working on. Her skin was so dry that I left the probe in only 8-12 seconds during her full clearance, out of fear of aggravating her PIH issues.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Hair Hair Removal.

The majority of the hairs were treated in thermolysis formats. Syncro at first, then PicoFlash, and only now and then Galvanic.

Thank You, I’ll share these results with my client. But I think she stated that she’d had a problem with thermolysis before.
