Important-Keratosis Pilaris

Okay, so I saw my client who has KP on her arms. We finished removing the hair on her arms several months back, which was a considerably amount when we started, but she came in for a visit to get some stragglers and do other parts of her body.

I had not seen her since March and she is very happy and totally stable as far as the hair removal goes. We did some work on her upper arms where the KP is the worse in March. It really looks awesome and she wears short sleeve tops now. She is happily pregnant, at this time, and relishes that fact that she will not have to feel uncomfortable showing her arms when they start an I.V. when delivery time comes.

As far as the original question that was asked last August of 2005, as to whether electrolysis might help to clear her KP problem, she reports that she definitely has smoother skin, no bumpy feeling anymore where hairs were treated, but electrolysis did nothing to cause the little red skin manifestations to go away. So… she is minus the bumpy feel, but still has the red color dots just the same as before electrolysis.
