Electrolysis after. Is this normal?

No Problem, im here for Helping peoples. If i can. =)

Question for you: what are these ā€œred dotsā€ and how will aloe Vera help?

Question for you: what are these ā€œred dotsā€ and how will aloe Vera help?

Dependsā€¦ what Stage of dots you mean.
I mean , if its fresh like <some hours /day/s gone and , the pore is not closed . Because , the pore isnt closed/Healed. But by @iammimi its not more the case. They are more far.

called : Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation

But i guess it comes from Thrmolysis ā€¦from the heat , that why you get dots like this.

Even in the picture you see some scratching on the skin , but its not from electroylsis

And Closed Pores/Hairfolice , Aloe Very Helps

At least support the Healing process and can avoid get scars.

and

Why should aloe vera be one of the products in your first aid kit?

Even doctors will tell you it.

So: It helps by it .

Aloe Vera is a Miracle Plantā€¦ word worthly. You can use it for very much things.

@Bono

I know also its not Really necessary by it ā€¦ the Hyperpigmentation to put it on the skin, it go Away Anyway after a while. But you can put it on the skin , proparly heal a bit faster. Even it go away , anyway.

Where do I begin on this ā€¦ my answer? Nowhere? Dee Dee ā€¦ My toupee is on the ceiling again.

Reference: Pores do not open and close; and especially recently treated follicle . The RED DOTS are ā€¦ drum roll for the 1,000th time ā€¦ angiogenesis (not hyperpigmentation).

I donā€™t think you should be giving directives on subjects with which you have little to no academic or professional experience. PERSONAL experiences are fine; but you should not be supplying actual post-treatment directives ā€¦ especially when you donā€™t know what the ā€œlesionā€ actually is.

I wonder who would be responsible if a truly bad suggestion was made on Hairtell, and the OP actually suffered damage from the incorrect suggestion? Who would be sued?

@Bono

You see things to close.

Of course i have no Academic /Professional Experience , i never Sayed it.

But you can give Adviced like it, doesnt matter you have it , or not.

For sure as you was a Childā€¦ and you had a Wound , your Mother /Father told you also things you can do for this.
And not Scatching.

And they had also no Arcademic /Doctor things (most proparly not).

And you listened on them also. And they was right .

Even friends tell me things if i feel bad and they are mostly right.

Like me on my Parentsā€¦ and other on them.

Even in this times you can , google /find ā€¦in the whole internet mostly advice/things for your problems in few Minutes.

its still a good advice anyway. For these things for Healing support for the skin , at least if it just normal wounds. or some swollenā€¦ like usual things. You dont need be a Doctor or got Academic knownledge.

If it would be go worse , or would hurt or so , a Doctor/Clinic is still the best Adress.

If anyone would have a normal wound, like you can treat it at home, you dont need to go to a doctor.

If its open and bleeding a lot, you call a doctor /emergency car or drive to it (with 2nd person).

Thatā€™s what my common sense tells me .

Also we are here in Hairtellā€¦not in Any Doctor forumā€¦where Doctors/Prof. or Peoples who study Medicine answer for peoples.

Iā€™m taking a break for a few months ā€¦

Please Dont Mike youā€™re too helpful around hereā€¦ Itā€™s driving me crazy too but I think someone else may have driven every person on the board nuts some time ago doing exactly this, It just escapes me who it could have been.
M_K Michael has a point. Itā€™s one I have tried to impress upon you as well without success.I dont really want to have to do this, but this has got to stop.Iā€™m asking you formally to put a stop to the unsolicited advice to every poster here from your very limited consumer experience, most especially in the professional forums where you are posting. These are forums that our consumers have come to depend on PROFESSIONAL advice. There was a time, DIYā€™ers were very much admonished for posting whatsoever in the professional forums, something I worked very hard to overcome, because sometimes consumer advice can be very valuable, but when you post as if you are experienced and give remedies like this that are not borne of medical or electrologist experience, you run the risk of very real harm to that person and it is the board that is ultimately responsible for those damages. If I have to, I will speak to Andrea about putting your account on moderated status until this is corrected.
There are very real; repercussions if someone gets some bad advice from someone who is not trained as an electrologist giving advice in this manner. For example, quite often people negatively react to substances put onto the open sores from electrolysis, which can cause histimine reactions or much worseā€¦ In some cases weā€™ve had consumers threaten to sue the board ( and some even try to do so) when this has occurred in the past.

If this continues, your account will be placed on a moderated status and every post will need to be reviewed and approved by a moderator of this board.
Enoughā€¦please.

I have to apologize for being grumpy. Damn, I hate being an old fart!

When I started working for Dr. Chappy, I remember what he told me and what I witnessed. The post-op patients who did nothing ā€¦ I mean came in (after, say, a face lift), with blood-soaked dirty bandages that were not fiddled-with in an attempt to ā€œmake it betterā€ ā€¦ always did well. He said, ā€œthe body loves its own blood ā€¦ that alone is our best ā€˜medicineā€™!ā€

By contrast, those patients who insisted on cleaning the area (removing dried blood) and putting on all sort of products to ā€œhelp the healingā€ ended up CREATING problems ā€¦ even infections. For example, years ago, people thought that putting vitamin-E on a wound would alleviate scar formation. Instead, there were allergic reactions and self-induced infections. Still, the ā€œIā€™m going to make this betterā€ patients consistently cannot keep their ā€œcotton-pickinā€™ handsā€ off the post-op area and predictably get in trouble.

I used to take care of post-op plastic surgery patients (I am a certified Mother Goose), and sometimes had to ā€œfightā€ patients to keep their hands OFF; especially when they were still under the effects of anesthesia. So again, I suppose Iā€™m super-sensitive to recommendations ā€œfor no good reasonā€ ā€¦ because common-sense remedies CAN cause real problems for patients. I remember one of my clients who put Retin-A on her face right after treatment ā€¦ so it would heal better! Lovely!

Oh yeah, I remember when I was a child, people told me to put mud on a mosquito bite (ā€œcommon senseā€) ā€¦ probably not the best home remedy?

Hi guys!

I have the same issue, will aloe vera work? why this happens?

I had my abdomen area done on Monday and I ended up with red dots everywhere. Funny though, cause itā€™s my third round and the only different thing on this session was she increased the strength of the machine (not sure if that makes sense but she told me ā€œletā€™s put a bit more cause you handle pain way better on the bodyā€) and ended up having red dots -.-ā€™.

PS: more strength = less sessions in the end, or whatā€™s the point?

Thank you !!

Red Dots 24-hours later?

You most likely had a strong ā€œhealing reactionā€ and when the white blood cells ā€œsneaked outā€ of the swollen blood vessels (as they are supposed to do), you also got some red blood cells oozing out too ā€¦ so, you got ā€œred dots.ā€ Red blood cells = red dots.

There is no problem at all with this reaction and itā€™s normal. The ā€œangiogenesisā€ red dots show up much later ā€¦ not in 24-hours. What to do about it? ā€¦ Pretty much nothing, but aloe is okay because the wound is now closed. Although, aloe vera wonā€™t make the red dots go away ā€¦ impossible.

I have to apologize for being grumpy. Damn, I hate being an old fart!

Hey!

Noppe, I had like super red the whole area after the session and yesterday at night I had like tiny red dots as above in the picture. I freaked out a bit because Iā€™ve been doing electro for 3 years in my face and never ever happened this to me but I guess it is because of the strength used this time in my abdomen area.

Was some Weeks in Holiday.

Im Not Harming Anything.

I Respect @Bono what he do/did 45 Years and also his Experience even Knownledge. I have respect for it.Honestly.
But Bono should complain about everythingā€¦like he know all better. I guess he know all better in Electrolyisā€¦Hairremoval ā€¦Practing , i dont regret it. But in Skin Healing i would ALLWAYS Listen on a Doctor /anyone who work in medicine seriously.

But some things at least in Skin Healing and im not talking about DIY Electrolyiss. I mean to let the skin heal, you dont have to be any expert. It exist enough peoples arround the World , you can ask for it. I mean i could go in in Aphethecy /Drug store ask anyone, say i did Electrolyissis hairremova, i have red dots because of it . Give it anythig against it, to support the healing process.

Here in Germany to get a Electrolgysis Proof to work as itā€¦ is how should i say it is. I think : Too Easy .
I mean litterarly you have to Pay XXXX Euro for 1 Day , have to bring a Model with you. Proparly you practice/learn something and you get a Certificate at least , for Cosmedic Studio.

But i Guess its here completly Other as by you in USA/CANADA .

Even in Germanyā€¦ even its nearly Dead here like 40-50 in Whole germany . We have some Skin Doctors who do electrolysis still.

Itā€™s just because you do it for a living. Always biased in knowing everything better. Of course I donā€™t know a lot. Iā€™m also not trained in Electrolyiss, let alone a medic/doctor whatever.

You should just step off the gas pedal sometimes, just like me.

If I can help, at least in utensils that can be used for DIY (as an example) or what can be used for skin healing such as: aloe veraā€¦antiseptic cream, etc. Any person can say that too. Then thatā€™s how it is. But in professional/technical aspects, I go back a step or 2 or point out that it is better to see a doctor.

If I understood your post, I suppose I was insulted. Then again, Iā€™m unable to follow your narrative. Maybe thatā€™s a good thing? Kudos to your persistence.

Wollte etwas korrigieren , da waren nen paar fehler drin. Die ich im nachhinein gesehen habe.

I wouldnā€™t say you were offended. More like saying here * You were too much in the fast lane* or another saying * Too much on the high horse* . Is a idiom and means that you are too convinced of something or know it. Not valuing other opinions.

Not when your opinion is seriously wrong or could cause harm.

Yes you are right.

But usual effects, i know it from my Skin over 33 Years.

I mean if your skin is some red and it dont Bother , not in any case , like you feel Nothing there. Most proparly its nothing serious.

If it is itchy, inflamed, bleeding, or painful, or worse. Of course you should see a doctor.

Had in past a lot of thingsā€¦

Have had a liver spot since birthā€¦ Had hypothermiaā€¦ Measlesā€¦skin inflammation/swellingā€¦ which I would have liked to have done without. My skin has often been scratched too, but an electrolysis treatment is against it. Itā€™s childā€™s play. Also the other burn up to 2 degrees.

Goddess help me, I think Iā€™m ready to throw in the towel.

I think Michael the best approach may be to continue to point out when shes full of crap. But itā€™s most of the time and so time consumingā€¦sigh. I just dont have the energy, and I have a shed /gazebo projet to finish in my damned near non-existent free time. Save the bar stool next to you for me and go ahead and pre-order me a triple rhum n coke.
