However, my practitioner had just got back from a conference of doctors who were doing LHR. She said one interesting thing to come out of the conference was (apparently) LHR can actually help remove scarring. I’m not sure whether this was using laser - it may even have been IPL. She also said the doctors weren’t sure why this happened.
That’s very interesting to know. Thanks for letting us know. I would presume more about scar and laser can still be researched.
I know this is old, but my reply IS relevant. I have the same ingrown hair dark spots on (in?) my underarms. I find the underarms the most painful area to be treated (more painful than my face or my arms) but it’s not unbearable since it’s over pretty quickly.
I am paying $200 per visit for arms, underarms, and face treatments and I am having GREAT success in all areas.
