Hi Josefa,
Fantastic work!
Can you tell me what are the levels ,needle size and type used on this mans chest?
Thanks
Thanks Suds.
I edit slow thermolisis only, ranging between 50% and 65% depending on the sensitivity of the area.
Thus we have:
Slow Thermolysis: 0.1 s / 50% / 260 e.l
Flash: .001 s / 99% / 1x / 260 e.l
I choose the size of the needle in relation to the hair, therefore, to the central chest area where the hairs are very thick, steel needle F5, in the perimeter area F-3 or F-4.
November 2010. Thirteenth week. 19 sessions. 20 hours and 36 minutes. 1176 euros.
Machine Type: Apilus Platinum
System used: Multiplex (combination of two modes thermolysis: slow and flash).
Frequently parameters:
Slow Thermolysis: 0.1 s / 50% / 260 e.l
Flash: .001 s / 99% / 1x / 260 e.l
Slow Thermolysis: 0.1 s / 79% / 572 e.l
Flash: .001 s / 99% / 1x / 572 e.l
Needle type: F-3, F-4 and F-5 (steel).
Hair Type: Forte terminal and Medium terminal (Medullated hairs).
Phase most of the hairs: 85% anagen in the central area and 70% telogen en the perimeter.
Depth of most of the follicles treated: 3 at 4 mm in anagen/ 1 and 1/2 mm at 2 in telogen.
Chosen strategy: Maintain and advance.
Reference Book: āThe Blend Methodā by Michael Bono.
Forecast developments in the case: 5 hours for the first clearance (to the navel) and 5 hours in total for maintenance for the period until May 2011, after which we expect that 95% of hairs removed permanently.
I wish I could get access to an Apilus Platinum. I spend way too much on maintenance, when I know that machine is capable of killing hairs in one shot, never to return.
December 2010. Fifteenth week. 22 sessions. 23 hours and 16 minutes. 1336 euros.
(40 minutes of last session, only to maintain)
Applause! Fantastic work - hard work, too! Thanks for sharing your pictures, Josefa!
Thank you, dear colleague Dee.

How right he was!
He can space out treatments every 3 months as well and enjoy a hairfree period in between those treatments. So he can get tanned during the 2 months of the summer. Tan fades.
He would have to shave at least once or twice during those 3 months. Have you any idea how soft it is his skin now (without shaving)?
Moreover, our swimming season here lasts about 6 months. Do not forget that we live in the heart of the Coast of Sun. (Costa del Sol)
The electrolysis will give him a hairfree period very, very long: a lifetime.
Youāre talking like there are no downsides to getting electrolysis treatments consistently for almost a year. What about the weird half done look? The redness? The scabs? The photos do not show a man who can go to the beach right now and show off either. Letās not forget all that time and money he could save and use it for relaxing vacations. Iām sure your treatments are relaxing, but not as much as a vacation!
When the hair sheds after laser, the skin is super soft and hairless. He doesnāt have to shave at all. He can get treatments more often if he wants. Even if he shaves, the hair becomes so fine that the area is completely smooth too.
In this thread all the words are superfluous, including mine, full of grammatical errors.
It is a graphic document that provides dates, amount of money and time spent. Hairtell readers have sufficient criteria to draw their own conclusions when the case is concluded.
It is clear that all the side effects you describe very well and are not exclusive to the Electrolysis (often, the laser also produces redness, scabs and patches of hair) have disappeared in a few days.
I brought two children into this world, each of them left ugly stretch marks on my belly for the rest of my life, it was worth? oh yes, of course. Nothing is free in this life, let alone those things that are so valuable.
My young client not to display his beautiful torso on the beach yet, it will be in May, ie, nine months after starting treatment or whatever it is, when 95% of the hairs have been removed permanently, meanwhile, he has agreed to share with all people who aspire to enjoy hair-free skin forever.
Josefa, your work is superior. Some people only know how to offer snapping negativity instead of giving the spirit of positivity in regard to work that is very labor intensive and technically very difficult to accomplish. Only two electrologists can understand what a feat you accomplished. You only deserve gracious praise and admiration for the good you do for the hairy and miserable.
Proper laser treatments donāt have any side effects at all. Redness lasts a day at most.
Iām not saying those side effects are not worth it. Iām just making sure things arenāt biased in this thread. In order for others to make their own conclusions, they need to have unbiased facts for both laser and electrolysis. Itās not fair to compare bad laser treatments to good electrolysis treatments.
uh-huh.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Dee.
Hairtell is so great because it exposes the falsehoods in the press regarding the Electrology.
This thread will help demonstrate one of those biggest lies: that Electrolysis is effective only for small areas.
This show also that Electrolysis is the quickest technique to achieve the desired goal: hairfree forever.
LAgirl, thank you for participating in this thread and provide an unbiased view. But you have nothing to fear, this thread will be lost (not before the month of May) and readers will be bombarded by advertising of the laser.
haha nice one
LAGirl, If there are no side effects, what then do we call the ārednessā you referenced? I think we should be honest enough to admit that both laser and electrolysis have their own drawbacks.
Anyway, I want to commend the original poster for the wonderful work that she has obviously been doing. Those pictures are truly worth 1000 words. Amazing stuff, really. I know just how tough that must be - the level of dedication it takes to see so much hair and not flee right away (as I have seen some electrologists do) is immense. Please keep up the great work! I really want to see the man in May.
I think I am already envious that a man has a chest smoother than mine.
I suffered paradoxical hypertrichosis. I donĀ“t know what is the prevalence rate, but I do know what is starting from āa little amount of non desirable hairsā and ending up with āa fistfull moreā
The only thing I got rid of, was my money (not so much, fortunately)
Since electrolysis canĀ“t make you hairier, IĀ“m not taking chances about laser anymore.
Just my personal experience.
