There have been so many stories posted here by women who had less than desirable outcomes to LASER SURGERY (LASER HAIR REMOVAL IS SURGERY) right here on this site… WHY DON’T YOU LADIES LEARN FROM THOSE WHO WENT BEFORE YOU? If you were PROMISED something and they DID NOT DELIVER that could be CONSUMER FRAUD which is a different issue.
YOU CAN ONLY SUE FOR LOSSES…NO MORE. IF YOU HAD NO LOSSES YOU CANT SUE FOR THOUSANDS. If you are a model and your income is affected due to scarring you MAY have a different issue. All surgery involves pain and there are no guarantees in medicine because no two cases are the alike, consequently, the results will vary. FDA maintains,“any procedure that alters the structure and/or function of the area being treated is SURGERY.” Therefore, since the follicle has to be altered permanently to achieve the results the laser operator is trying to deliver… that is SURGERY. In every state, the practice of medicine requires a license to do the procedure, therefore, all laser surgery by non-physician operators is “practicing medicine without a license” and is illegal. There is no malpractice insurance for an illegal act. I’m retired from my electrology practice for 20 years. No electrology malpractice insurance covers laser surgery as it is illegal. If you can find a lawyer to take your case you may be lucky as no lawyer HAS TO TAKE YOUR CASE.

No one has ever reported “permanent stripes” or any type of permanent damage from laser hair removal in general.
